Sunset Scramble

Twice this week I've pulled off the road on my rush home from work to snap pictures of sunsets that took my breath away and made me want to freeze time and soak it in. The first time, all I had with me was my cell phone and my memory, but last night, I was ready with a camera. I was jumping out of my skin, practically yelling Holy Crap, trying to get to somewhere to catch a better view.
Here's how it went down:

Twice I pulled off the road to get some pictures without traffic or power lines in the way. I wished I was sitting on the top of a hill with clear views, but you get what you get. It was a gift even with strip malls and humanity in the way.

Friday was the warmest January day I can remember, reaching over 50 degrees and filled with sunshine. It was no fun to work inside all day, but the sunset made the ride home one of my best yet.

Have a great weekend.

  1. Holy Crap is right! If you were to paint those nobody would believe you. It's got to be dangerous to be on the road at these times, who's watching where they're driving?! Show stopping! d
