Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous. Plus kissy mug tucker face. The snow and the mountains and the trees and the sky. How 'bout that tree covered in Tribbles? And oh my goodness, X marks the spot of the castle in the sky? Looks like Cartagena's fortress or something. Ahhhh, so THAT's where Adult World is. Cross marks that spot. Wonderful trip. Happy New Year, Meli!!!
Lovely photo story, Mel! I think my favourite capture is either the stone arch over the road, or the one after it, with the water and the bench to sit and enjoy the quiet... Hope The dog behaved the rest of the night, and got his rawhide when the sun came up!!
You make me want to open my eyes, and really see what's around me. I am missing magic! I must be, because there it is in your photos. You make the world look full of it! Beautiful photos, as always. Hope your trip was was lovely as it looks.
These are the things in my head. I'm trying to get them out to make room for new things. I am very curious, a mom, wife, lifelong learner, book and nature nut, picture taking, music loving, raw, hormonal mess. Nice to meet you.
I like to share. Also dabbling on youtube, librarything, livejournal, nasa sites, the ning with my nerd friends, flikr, twitter, facebook, photobucket, stumble, TED...
I take pictures and write compusively, it's how I cope.
Oooh, it was pretty darn windy in that second to last picture! Beautiful photos, and I'm glad you're home safe and sound. :-)
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year, dear Mel.

ReplyDeleteHmmm. These look like the things I take pictures of on the road! I really love that tree with the spots of moss? Clustered along it.
ReplyDeleteHope you enjoyed your holidays. If not, I am glad they are behind you.
Here's to a new year and the start that it can imply.
Much thanks to you for your comments this year. I really appreciate you.
Hi Mel, Enjoyed your photo journey. Your dog is priceless - such a face? What kind is s/he?
ReplyDeleteI love your pictures; they remind me of home. Of all the homes I've known.
